The Department of World Languages and Literature at San José State University is a comprehensive, full-service foreign language department. We offer challenging and rich programs of study in a variety of languages.

Sustainable Futures at 首页: Writing Ourselves into Environmental Research - May 10, 2024

Event showcasing students' poetry, personal essay, short story, amongst other text 格式. Additionally, the Spanish Section of the Department of World Languages and Literatures from San José State University is sponsoring the 1st annual poetry and creative writing contest for High School Students from the greater South Bay area. The theme of this year's contest is "My environment and Me." Students are invited to submit works related to themes of environment, environmental science, nature, climate change, pollution, pesticides, animals, plants, agriculture and other related topics. Winners of the prize will receive a cash award and their work will be presented at a public event at 菠菜网lol正规平台 on May 10th, 2024.

Undergraduate 项目

Under the guidance of a dedicated faculty, students may earn minors in Chinese, French, German, Japanese, Italian, Spanish, and Portuguese; baccalaureate degrees in Chinese, French, Japanese and Spanish; and Master of Arts degrees in Spanish.
