可访问性 for the disabled community is a priority at 圣何塞州立大学.

We actively engage in reviewing campus infrastructure, programs, and services in compliance the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 (ADA); the Americans with Disabilities Amendments Act (ADAAA) of 2008; Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973; and California Government Code 11135 of 2003, which applies Section 508 of the Rehabilitation 去犯罪现场调查组.

To maintain a safe and accessible environment, we build partnerships and collaborations with various campus entities such as Academic Affairs, 大学工作人员, Facilities 发展 & 操作, University 停车 Services and many other campus entities to ensure access and compliance.

We are committed to reviewing a wide range of compliance issues but do not engage 投诉审查. Concerns of alleged discrimination may be presented to the Office for 平等的机会 in 大学工作人员 . Disputes between faculty and students over accommodations recommended by the AEC can be presented to a counselor at the AEC or the Director for presentation to the Accommodations Review Board (ARB). 年级 disputes and similar issues should be presented to the University Ombudsperson.
